CUSAT admission to Integrated BSc-MSc programme is based on CUSAT CAT score. CUSAT CAT or Cochin University of Science and Technology Common Admission Test is a computer-based test conducted for shortlisting aspirants for admission to various courses. After completion of selection rounds, CUSAT releases a rank list based on total marks secured in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry subjects. A separate rank list is released for selected Integrated BSc-MSc specialisation. Based on the rank list, aspirants are called for counselling and document verification round.

The university admit candidates based on merit in the last qualifying examination. Hence, the merit list is prepared based on candidates performance in Class 12 or equivalent examination. In 2022, the admission last round score was 1279 for the BSc in Physics programme. The cutoff score varies every year as it depends upon the number of applicants, applicants scores, and seat availability.

Admission to the BSc course at Calicut University is entrance-based. The minimum eligiblity required to apply for the course is Class 12 or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 45%-70% from a recognised university. However, as admissions are entrance-based, students are required to secure a valid score in the accepted entrance exams such to be eligible for the BSc course admission. In case a candidate does not score enough, or wants to consider other options for BSc admissions, they can always opt for other colleges offering online BSc course.

In terms of placements, the University has maintained a decent track record. The official placement report or brochure is yet to be released. As per the data gathered from the NIRF report 2024, 156 out of 818 PG (2-year) graduates were placed in 2023. Earlier, 234 out of 803 students were placed in the 2022 drive. Officially, the data on the highest packages offered to BSc courses at Kerala Agricultural University has not been released.
