Periyar Maniammai University students are eligible to apply for scholarships under various categories. Some of the PMU scholarships are Merit Scholarship, Sports Scholarship, Farmers & Weavers Scholarship, Alumni Scholarship, etc. Students can apply for these scholarships while filling out the registration form for course admission. The scholarships are awarded to the students of UG courses like BSc, BCom and BA based on their performance in Class 12. The sanctioned scholarship will be given throughout the programme subject to the fulfilment of the condition that the student has passed all the semester exams and has a minimum of 80% attendance in the previous academic year.

As of now, Nazareth College of Arts and Science has not officially announced the last date for applying to the BSc programme for the 2025 academic year. Admissions are typically aligned with the release of Class 12 results, and the application process is currently open. 

The median salary package offered to the students after finishing B.Sc. from VIT Vellore is INR 300,000 - INR 810,000. While, the Median package offered by School of Science and Humanities, SRM IST, Chennai after completion of B.Sc. is INR 275,000 - INR 425,000. Basis these stats, VIT Vellore is better option compared to School of Science and Humanities, SRM IST, Chennai on the Median salary parameter.

Tolani Maritime Institute- TMI and Academy of Maritime Education and Training both are renowned universities for B.Sc. However, in terms of affordability, Tolani Maritime Institute- TMI is a better option. In the total fees that students generally end up paying the university or the college, various other components are also included, such as the exam fee, application fee, lab and other charges.

Currently, the counselling process is going on for admission to the BSc course at IMU Chennai, which has been released. In this Chennai campus, candidates who qualify for IMU CET can register themselves for the counselling process after the release of the IMU CET list. The application form usually starts in the month of April/ May every academic year. For, the academic batch 2025, the last date to fill out the IMU CET Application form was 2 May 2025.  

SRM Ramapuram is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The institute is accredited by (National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with A+ Grade. Moreover, during SRM Ramapuram placements 2023, the highest package offered stood at INR 1.1 crore per annum. Further, more than 140 companies made offers so far and made over 12,000 total offers to the students.

Yes, in order to get into the Integrated MSc courses at PSGCT, a student is required to take an entrance examination conducted by the PSGCT. The applicants are shortlisted for the entrance exam based on marks obtained in Class 12. Shortlisted students ar then called for an entrance test at the College campus. The duration of the examination is one hour. It connsists of Multiple Choice Questions from Mathematics at the Higher Secondary Level.

The Gandhigram Rural Institute has not released the 2023 placement statistics yet. However, according to the NIRF report 2023, 173 UG programme students were placed during placements in 2022. The median package offered to UG (three-year) students stood at INR 1.8 LPA.

While SRM IST Vadapalani BSc Placement 2025 is yet to be officially released, the overall 2024 placement report shows impressive outcomes. The highest package offered stood at INR 52 LPA and the average package at INR 7.5 LPA. Top companies like Godrej, Amazon, Cisco, TATA, Deloitte, and IBM participated, offering roles across many domains.

Bishop Heber College offers median package range of (aprx)INR 185,040 during in-campus placements. It has a decent placement assistance program as well. Additionally, it has been rated 3.8 on placements as per Shiksha verified reviews by students.

KPR College of Arts Science and Research has been rated 4.8 on Infrastructure parameter. KPR College of Arts Science and Research has also been rated 4.8 for Campuslife.

VIT Chennai BSc median package for the year 2022 offered to the graduates as disclosed in the NIRF report 2023 was INR 3.82 LPA. Out of the 652 total students, 132 students from the UG programme got placed. Some of the major recruiters participated in the placement process include Amazon, PwC, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini etc.
