BSc Computer Science focuses more on theory of subjects like - data structures, algorithms, computer networks, databases, artificial intelligence and machine learning. BTech - Computer Science focuses more on practical aspects and intensive programming. CUSAT admission to Integrated BSc-MSc programme is based on CUSAT CAT score. CUSAT CAT or Cochin University of Science and Technology Common Admission Test is a computer-based test conducted for shortlisting aspirants for admission to various courses. After completion of selection rounds, CUSAT releases a rank list based on total marks secured in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry subjects. A separate rank list is released for selected Integrated BSc-MSc specialisation. Based on the rank list, aspirants are called for counselling and document verification round.

Rajagiri College of Social Sciences BSc (Hons) admission is subject to the fulfilment of the preset eligibility criteria. RCSS has specified the eligibility requirements for the two BSc (Hons) specialisations offered at the college. Given below is the specialisation-wise eligibility criteria for RCSS BSc (Hons) courses:

• BSc (Hons) in Psychology: Class 12/ equivalent examination

Based on the 10+2 percentage, the college creates a merit list and contacts students for counselling.
