HNB Garhwal University is a decent, government-run Central University in Uttarakhand. 

• Pros: It holds prestigious NAAC 'A' grade. Fees are highly affordable making it great for budget-conscious students. The campus environment is beautiful & the professors are well-qualified & helpful.

• Cons: On-campus placements are average so students must find jobs on their own. 

It is excellent for an affordable, basic degree but you must work hard independently to secure a corporate job.

The application process for BSc admission at MAHGU is currently ongoing. As of now, the university has not yet specified the application deadline. However, aspirants must not wait till the last date to apply. This is because the university offers a limited number of seats under BSc. Candidates who have completed Class 12 from a recognised board or are currently awaiting their Class 12 results must apply soon. They can do so in online or offline mode. The seat allocation process is expected to be held once the Class 12 results of various boards have been released, which is usually in May/ June. Interested candidates can directly contact the university to learn about the exact admission dates.

IIT Roorkee Candidates who have qualified JEE Main are eligible to apply for the said exam. The last date to register for JEE Advanced is in May. The deadline to pay the registration fees is in May. The exam is scheduled on May and the admit cards for the same will be available from May.

UPES Dehradun BSc total tuition fees is INR 5.7 Lacs - INR 12.95 lakh. UPES fee structure includes many components. The total fee may differ at the time of payment due to the variables of the fee structure. The information is taken from the official/ sanctioning body and is subject to change.

Doon University offers the BSc course in differet specialisations.
