Yes. The university offers the M.Sc Botany course andf the duration of the course is 2 years. The CPGET exam which is a common entrance test is conducted every year in order to complete the admission process for the course. Yes, admission to the postgraduate-level course is based on a common entrance exam conducted by the university. It is conducted by CSSAC. Candidates seeking admission must take the test as re-examination is not carried out under any circumstances. Kerala University PG Entrance Exam response sheets are marked either digitally or by a examiners panel approved by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor. The type of questions asked in the exams are multiple choice types. Additionally, negative marking is also applicable, and hence, 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer.

The MSc placement report 2024 is not released as of now. However, as per the university NIRF report 2025, the median package offered during MG University PG 2-year placements in 2024 stood at INR 5.5 LPA. In addition, a total of 455 students were placed out of 565 students during PG 2-year placements 2024.

The University has released the median package details in the NIRF report 2024. During 2023 placements, the median package offered to PG (2-year) students was INR 3.26 LPA. Earlier, the median package offered in 2022 was INR 4.80 LPA. Looking at the past three years' records (2021 to 2023), a fluctuating trend was observed in the median package of PG (2-year) courses. Kannur University offers a Diploma in Tulu which is a one-year course. The course duration is further divided into two semesters. The university conducts classes for the programme on only on Saturdays. Over one year, there are 200 teaching hours in total. The medium of instruction and examination is Kannada. The course curriculum includes learning about the history and literature of Tulu. It also includes a project work which can be carried out as field work or desk work. A written project/document must be submitted to the University at the end of the second semester. The project is evaluated by an external examiner.
