Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya (DHSGSU) accepts the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores for admission to most undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The university conducts a counseling process based on CUET scores for final selection.

The registrations are currently not open for MSc at Barkatullah University. It can be expected to begin soon after the result announcement of CUET-PG. Hence, the registration may begin in Mar/Apr. According to NIRF ranking Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya has 43 ranking and Indira Gandhi National Tribal Universitye has 151 in ranking. There is such a large difference in ranking between them apart from ranking. If we put aside the ranking of Indira Gandhi National Tribal University college offer a good placement with a minimal fee and also they have good infrastructure and other qualities and Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya offered 60-70 percent placement but more fees than tribal university.
