Chandigarh University (CU) has good placement record for BTech, MBA, MCA, etc. While CU has not released any information on the percentage of students placed either course-wise or overall, 2025 placements saw a 9% jump in the total studets placed. While in 2024, a total of 9124 students were placed, in 2025 the number moved up to 10000.

For the academic year 2024-2025, over 1300 global recruiters participated in the placement process and as mentioned before, they placed a total of 10000 students from the batch 2025. Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will be introduced for admission into UG/ PG programmes in Central and participating Universities for academic session 2025-26. Central University of Punjab also conducts MSc admission via CUET PG scores. 

The CUET PG 2025 examination will be conducted by the examination authority i.e., NTA (National Testing Agency) in the various CUET PG examination centres across the nation. The Syllabus for the master's courses for which the examination will be conducted is set by the exam conducting authority, which is National Testing Agency here. The subject experts after taking all the probable suggestions from all the participating universities, will set the syllabus for the master's degree programmes on the basis of what students have studied in their under graduate courses.
