Of course, he can opt for B.Com with a little more efforts towards subjects like accounts. There is no such bar that science students can't opt for commerce after 12th. As he was having mathematics, he can move ahead in commerce stream too.

Congratulations for good results in PG. You are eligible to appear for the UGC NET exam which shall lead you to be an Assistant Professor job in colleges and universities. You can also get JRF if you qualify the UGC NET with distinction. Means your Ph.D will be sponsored by UGC. You can do a B.Ed to enter into School Education. Your M.Com makes you eligible for PGT Commerce in Schools and you can appear and qualify the CTET exams of states to be a School Teacher.

Dear Arpit,
After having taken admission at PGDAV in one of the lists and then withdrawing it later on, and currently being enrolled at Ramanujan, I can assure you of few things:
1. Ramanujan College has a much better environment and Campus, including the building, canteen, etc.
2. PGDAV classrooms are much below average in terms of hygiene and maintenance.
3. Location wise, both the colleges are located at well connected, posh areas of South Delhi.

You should have done Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks for general category and 45% marks in the case of SC/ST in the qualifying examination with mathematics or one of the subjects at 10+2 level.

Hey,
The minimum qualification for admission to the M.Phil programme will be at least 55% marks in the aggregate in M.Com/MIB/MHROD/MFC/MBA and other such degree courses which are equivalent to the MBA degree of the University of Delhi and other Indian universities.

Most preferred campus for doing B.Com honours is Indo Global campus. You can check merit and join this college for B.Com (Hons). This year, more than 15 students of Indo Global Colleges scored more than 85% marks in university and are in the merit list of IKG-Punjab Technical University.
