It all depends on your experience as event management has a lot of divisions like Operation, Client Service, Creative, Sales, Marketing and so on. The best way to know your potential is by doing internship in an event company or start freelancing in order to understand what suits you best.

There is some formula to calculate loss of hearing in percentage terms for evaluation of hearing disability.
The formula is:
Loss of hearing in decibels in better ear -25*1.5
HD=X-25*1.5
here X is loss of hearing in decibel terms
SupposeIf u have 52 db loss in better ear
Then
HD=52-25*1.5
=40%
SO with 52 db loss in your better your considered eligIsle under partially hearing impaired
