Academically, DU is better than BHU courses and way of learning is smart. Courses are update and tough. Also, DU is far more prestigious than any other universities in India, especially for arts and commerce courses.

I think you shouldn't wait for the 3rd list, because Deshbandhu is not that much bad or low standard college, Go for it, and if you want to change the college so you can do it after 1st year in Deshbandhu by migration process. To get admission in DU is reliable. The college doesn't matter that much,
