CMA is a person who performs services involving costing, pricing of goods and services, verification or certification of Cost Records and Taxation, especially in Indirect Taxation. Earlier only Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) Companies offered job to CMAs, but in the last few year's trends have changed. Now almost all enterprises/ companies show their interest in giving job to CMAs. It has shown in Institutes campus placement where, apart from PSUs, companies such as ITC, ICICI Bank, IDBI Bank, Wipro, Ashok Leyland, Ford etc. Are regular recruiters. If you are looking for management accounting jobs especially in the manufacturing sector, people do seem to appreciate the CMA qualification. SAP has a functional side and a technical side to it. With your qualification, I assume that you are interested in specializing in the functional area of your specialization - in your case that would be the FICO or financial module of SAP. As is the case with all functional modules, it helps to first GET an in-depth experience in the functional area, then learn SAP and then use your experience to deploy SAP in the most productive manner. So, first try to work in your area of specialization - marketing and then consider getting into SAP. SAP India, Bangalore is your best BET for finding information on training. It is recommended that you do your training from either Siemens Information Systems or Genovate Systems as these are the only authorized SAP education partners in India.
