Kishinchand Chellaram College of Arts, Science and Commerce or KC College is an educational institution affiliated to University of Mumbai. The college is located in Churchgate in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It was set up in 1954 under the guidance of Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board. KC College was the second management institute to be set up in Bombay, after it was relocated to the city post-partition. The college offers around 26 undergraduate courses and around 26 trust based and non-college scholarships. It has an intake of around 1300 students every year. Admission to the college is based on marks secured in 10+2.

SIES College of Arts Science & Commerce
The college is good. Campus wise, it is good but the science and commerce college in SION (different ones) have a better name. More prestigious than the Nerul one. SIES Nerul is a private college with higher fees whereas the SION ones are under Mumbai University and exams are governed by MU too. Do check other reviews and the sites!
Ramnarain Ruia College
Why join?
Ramnarain Ruia College is located in the central part of Mumbai close to Hindu Colony, between the Dadar and Matunga railway station adjacent to Podar College. It offers around 35 undergraduate courses. The college was established in 1937 and was the first college in Mumbai to be started by the Shikshana Prasaraka Mandali, Pune. It is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. Selection for admission into the college is according to university norms.
It's an amazing college for science stream it has a NAAC accreditation A+. As far as arts stream is concerned, it stands second. Teaching staff is amazing. Ruia's quadrangle is always lively. Vidyarthi Pratinidhi Mandal (VPM) is the official student's council association and rotaract club of Ruia is very active regarding different activities. It is the best for a course in humanities.

Hello, KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce is one of the best in Mumbai. In fact, it was ranked 2nd in a recently held survey of colleges in and around Mumbai. The excellent academics of this college have been recognised by authorities and college has been granted with 'autonomous status', a rare honor indeed.
Sophia College of Women, on the other hand too ranks very high in this survey but definitely with a little score.
So, if a student is a male, there is no need for worrying since admission can be taken only in one college. But on the other hand, Sophia college is open only for female students. This gives them the choice of getting admission in either of both colleges.
Both colleges have a very good reputation in Mumbai and a male student must attempt admission in Somaiya while female students must seek admission in Sophia college.
