Weekend and evening class will depend on the time you have to dedicate to the classes.
Being a regular student evening classes can prove to be hectic. But you also need to ensure that you will invest enough time in case you are able to do self-study then weekend class is a good option.

Yes, you can take transfer to SOL, but you will need to provide reason and proof for transfer.

Yes you do stand a chance but you should be having a higher CAT percentile. In the selection procedure 55% weightage is given to interview, group discussion and your academics and 45% to your CAT percentile.
