I feel both courses are okay. But, I would advise you to prefer B.Com followed by some course in finance and I am sure this will take you far in your life.

I feel hotel management has tremendous scope in times to come in India. With industry and population booming, presently there is acute shortage of professionals in this field. There's a great scope in future.
