There are various career options available for commerce students. You can pursue further studies like M.Com, MBA etc. Most of the commerce students go for CA or CS. So, if you think that you can work that hard and if you have patience then you can choose that. If you have interest in Lectureship or Research then you can appear in UGC NET Exam.
Many commerce candidates who are willing to pursue your career further as a Junior Research Fellow or an Assistant Professor, they prepare for the exam.

Hello,
To be an engineer, you need to have science with PCM (physics, chemistry, mathematics) background. So unfortunately, in your case, you're not eligible to be a software engineer.
However, If you had mathematics and computer as your subjects in 12th board examination, you can get for BCA (Bachelors in Computer Application), which is a 3 years course, followed by MCA (Masters in computer application) which is also a 3 years course. In case, you didn't have mathematics as a subject in 12th, then you can learn a course of your interest from reputed computer coaching institutes like NIITs etc.

Hi,
Since companies are going global so considering that scenario pursuing degree in global management is considered to be advantageous since all the companies prefer a candidate with global business knowledge over the one with domestic knowledge but what amount one fitches in placements is up to the student it's up to his own skills and learnings. Generally, IB from a repute college gives you good package.
