There are some really good answers here, but as someone who has none of those designations I thought I would add my perspective.
Understand that a CFO, generally speaking, is an executive responsible to the CEO and company board for translating business operations into consumable, actionable information so that they can set strategy and execute a business plan. With the launch of this course, students who have enrolled for the CA course, but for some reasons are not able to complete the course, always have an option of becoming an accounting technician.
However, at the same time, there is a scope for them to acquire CA qualification even after qualifying the Accounting Technician Course.
For ATC candidates usually the starting salary is like INR 15000 per month.
The scope in abroad would be little less as compared to CA.

Candidates are needed to be registered with the Board of Studies to appear in the CPT after appearing in the Class 10+2 examination.
Candidates passed B.Com, M.Com, LLB, ICWA, CS or MBA in their first attempt, were also eligible to appear the exam.
Candidates appeared in the final year of the qualifying exam, were also eligible to appear in CA CPT 2016 December exam.
Any candidate, who had registered for CPT on or before October 1, 2016 for December 2016 examination were eligible.
