Securing a place in the Computer Science Engineering (CSE) branch at prestigious universities like Amrita's main campuses (Coimbatore or Bangalore) may be difficult for someone with an AEEE score of 21,000. However, in less competitive categories or at Amrita's outlying campuses, you might still have a chance. Although they cost more, colleges may also provide management quota seats. Rankings can change, therefore it's best to look at the prior year's cutoffs for certain campuses and categories. To improve your chances of admission, think about applying to several campuses or branches.

For instance, last year the cutoff for CSE at various Amrita campuses ranged from a percentile of 90-99 for home state students and 95-99.5 for other state students.

The AEEE cut-off for aerospace engineering at Amrita School of Engineering in Coimbatore in 2017 was 5374 for the open quota and 19892 for the state quota. The cut-off varies for different categories of candidates and for each of the four engineering school campuses under Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetam.

You can also consider getting a free seat in aerospace engineering at a government engineering college by qualifying through state-level entrance examinations or securing merit-based scholarships.
