Greetings, Hemant Gowda Let me just add that you scored fairly well on the KCET. Having a ranking of 65 out of students who are just over 2L is good. You will receive a solid college education for the aeronautical engineering branch, I'm confident with this ranking. I've attached a link that, using your performance on the KCET. Will forecast the college for you. https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/kcet-college-predictor
I wish you well.

Yes indeed. KCET is the entrance exam for lateral admission into the second year of engineering conducted by Karnataka government via KEA. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about different aspects of the exam. https://www-shiksha-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.shiksha.com/b-tech/amp/dcet-exam?amp_js_v=a2&_gsa=1&usqp=mq331AQA#referrer=https://www.google.com&_tf=From %1$s&share=https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/dcet-exam

your rank must be minimum below 1500 in KCET to grab a seat in aeronautical engineering for CET fees which is around 50,000/- per year. All the best. Feel free to clarify any query.

Hello Sambit,
The institute that you have mentioned is actually not offering any engineering course approved by AICTE. What they are doing is enabling you to complete distance education program offered by "Aeronautical Society of India" after which you get the certificate that is equivalent to BE. My sincere advice is do not go for it. This path is offered to professionals working & who cannot go to college.

Hello Vicky,
Cut offs for admissions differ from state to state for different branches of Engineering. In many states, if you have a valid score, you are sure to get admission in some college.

Hello Keerthik,
Fee for aeronautical engineering and other branches is on similar lines. It's about Rs. 4L for a four-year course. But it varies from college to college.
