Hello, What is next best way after aeronautical engineering or rather from any engineering is like a Shakespearen dilemma? Weather to study for post-graduation or go for job or MBA? This is always a million dollar question. There is nothing right or wrong in choosing any of the ways. It all depends on what you want in life. If you choose to go for post-graduation, so be it and you will end up becoming a specialist in that branch and definitely can get a good job and prosper in your career. On the other hand, if you want to go for MBA, that also is a good line to take and you will become a generalist rather than a technocrat in your car

Hi Kudapa,
Both streams are best in their place. As now the aviation career is at it's peak, so I suggest you to join aeronautical engineering. In future there are so many openings of new airports, as well and the UAV industry is also on its way of growing.

This is good though of higher education but I think if you have good base in mechanical you should pursue Bachelor in mechanical engineering because Very large PSUs offer job in mechanical.

Hello Karthik,
No, it is of course not necessary to do M.Tech for getting a job after doing B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering, but the issue is not this. Issue is, in India, at the moment, the jobs in the core sector of Aeronautical Engineering are very hard to come by. ISRO, DRDO, armed forces are some of the recruiters who are requiring specialist from this branch but the Indian industry is still not requiring Aeronautical engineers in the numbers that are passing out. Due to this, many graduates prefer to go for M.Tech either abroad or in India or go for MBA and then get a job based on this new qualifications.
Best wishes to you.
