There are 3 ways to become pilot after class 12th in India.
1. Join in a DGCA approved flying school and complete your Private Pilot License (PPL) / Commercial Pilot License (CPL) and join as a pilot in an airline.
2. Complete your Bachelors in aeronautical engineering and then go through the above mentioned way.
3. Apply for exams like National Defence Academy (NDA) and become a government trained pilot with free of cost training. As of me, I suggest you to go through the 2nd way because once your aeronautical engineering is completed you are having a backup in life also you will be covering all the basics of aviation

I am very happy to receive your query. Let me state that aeronautical field requires expertise in every imaginable area of Science. It definitely requires experts from electronic engineering field. You can join ISRO which inducts young blood from all fields every year or join DRDO that also inducts young engineers of different branches. You can think of taking commission in IAF also. Be assured that electronics engineers are indeed in great demand in aeronautical industry.

Its great to know your desire to pursue graduation after diploma. Yes, normally mechanical branch diploma holders are allowed lateral entry into aeronautical branch. You just need to follow steps required to be taken. That's all. However i would like to advise that opportunities in aeronautical branch in India are very less as compared with mechanical and hence you should obtain degree in mechanical branch .

It is a college which fills its seats under TNEA. Tamil Nadu Engineering counselling. There is no separate exams for admission into madras institute of technology (MIT) which comes under Anna University.
Your board exam marks will make you eligible to get admission into Anna University and its affiliated colleges. If you are from the other state than Tamil Nadu, the applications are now open at www.annauniv.edu .
