Hi,
After your Diploma in aeronautical engineering, you can go for B.Tech lateral entry in any of the streams among CSE, Mechanical, electrical, Civil, Aerospace, Biotechnology, Food Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Information Technology, Chemical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Electronics and Computer Engineering or any other. It will be of 3 years rather than normal B.Tech which is of 4 years. It means you can straightway enrol into the 2nd year of your Bachelor's degree. Students prefer this course with an idea of securing a well-paid job after the completion of their professional degree course. Therefore, I would like to m

Hello Mushtaq,
The record of this college in placements is reasonably good. But the situation changes every year and is dependent on the industrial situation. So, do not worry too much about this aspect.

Hello Danish,
I am attaching a link that will give some idea about the cut-off of this college. However, from this year onwards, the criteria has changed. It's no more entrance exam but marks of 12th. Hence knowing cut-off of previous years will serve no purpose.

Hello Dhirendra,
Shastri Group of Institutes as the name suggests have different institutes imparting education/Skills in different fields. They are offering a totally different but legal way to obtain aeronautical engineering degree. Their course is not recognised by AICTE!! But then this is the beauty. They are actually offering to train students in passing exams conducted by Aeronautical Society of India which leads one to have a certification which is equivalent to a degree. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information. http://sgipune.in/admission.html

As you have not given JEE, there is very less chance of getting aeronautical engineering. You are not eligible for government aeronautical engineering colleges like IISC, IISER, etc. This colleges require above 90% marks in class 12th or a good rank in JEE. But, you can apply for other private colleges for aeronautical engineering. Like LPU, as they give the opportunity. You have to give the LPU-NEST exam or go through their management quota.
