Hello Shreyas,
You have two routes to achieve your dreams. Firstly, with your excellent marks, you can seek lateral admission in Aeronautical Engineering branch in a Maharashtra college directly in 2nd year. Alternatively, you can appear for JEE Mains and Advanced to get admission in any IIT as 1st year student.

Chakradhar, you definitely can pursue B.Tech Aeronautical engineering. You have to apply for B.Tech Lateral Entry. Some like IITs, IIITs have entrance test for lateral entry in B.Tech and private universities like Lovely, Chitkara, etc offer direct admissions on basis of marks in Diploma.
Most of the universities these days are a hub of quality education and good placements. Some of them also offer good scholarships.
Check their websites for more information.
Best wishes.

Hi, Yes you can, however, different universities would be having different admission requirements. It also depends on where you plan to study. For example, to study in the USA you must take the SAT and TOEFL.

Hi,
The syllabus for aeronautical as well as mechatronics is robust and industry oriented. So it would definitely help you as well as placement are concerned. I can say mechatronics has more placements than aeronautical and if you wish to pursue higher education then both the streams are great.
By the way, India is spending more money in fighter jets, so in upcoming time there would be a great demand for aeronautical engineers
Good luck!

Private colleges - BITS, VIT, SRM
Then there are colleges coming under industries. DTU has many good colleges too. Govt colleges IITs and NITs are the best. Also, if you've given the KVPY, there's the IISC. All of these are the best in India.

Hi,
How are you?
Well, each and every branch in engineering is good, we can't compare them. Just there are a few differences like mechanical, electrical and civil are evergreen branches but CS, IT and EC have high placement records.
Other than this, you may also take chemical, metallurgy, mechatronics, etc.
So, choose a suitable branch.
Go for it.
Thank you and keep asking!

Hello Reuben Matthew,
It depends on which college you want for aeronautical engineering, you have to appear for JEE Mains as many of the colleges give on the basis of merit list prepared by JEE Mains or equivalent score.
Hope this helps! All the best!
