Hello Vivek,
You can get a job in IAF, Army or Indian Navy. Besides this, you can work in DRDO, ISRO or any of the private companies who have either set up factories or are setting up industries seeing the push of the new government for 'Make In India'. Along with these, small scale industries are also coming up in the support of big companies. Thus, you can see, type of job will invariably be maintenance. However, if you are interested in research, then DRDO is the right option.

The faculty is good but the placements not so much. Not many core companies come for placements. A few students choose to get placed in IT companies whereas most of them go for higher studies.
