Both aeronautical and mechanical engineering are excellent branches of engineering. Mechanical is an ever green branch for last 50 years with wide scope in all type of manufacturing & services industries and will continue to remain same in next 50 years. Aeronautical engineering is niche branch of engineering with relatively lesser scope in comparison to Mechanical engineering. However, Aeronautical engineering has more opportunities for R&D, innovation and scope to work on cutting edge technologies. You may chose of the any based on your interests to excel in your engineering career.
