Aeronautical Engineering

Aerospace engineering focuses on designing both aircraft and spacecraft and it is a study of all the space crafts used within and out of the earth's atmosphere while Aeronautical Engineering is the study of aircraft that operates within the earth's atmosphere. Being an alumni I want to share my thoughts on this as my sister has done the same course from LPU itself. Aerospace is a specialised branch of engineering which deals with the skills and knowledge to design, manufacture and maintain spacecrafts, aircrafts, missiles and weapons systems. The course curriculum covers aspects of two branches of engineering - aeronautical and astronautically engineering. The course also focuses on new technologies in aviation, defence systems, and space exploration. It also includes aerodynamics, propulsion, avionics, materials Science, structural analysis and manufacturing. PLACEMENTS:
Companies like Every year more than 550 companies visit LPU for placement purposes. Companies like Ashok Leyland, Bosch, and Siemens Home Appliances, Volkswagon, Unominda, Voltas, Anglo-Eastern Ship Mgt. , Asahi India, Rockman (Hero group), Dharam Consulting, Samundra, Indo-MIM, Sandhar Technologies, JK Lakshmi Cement, Maruti, Lava, XL Dynamics, Asahi India, Cleanmax Solar, Elgi Equipments, VA tech Wabag, Thermax, Bristlecone, Tex Fasteners, GigaSolar, Westline Shipping, Raam Group, Nylocore Transmissions. First batch started in 2016 with class of 27 students, out of which 19 has registered for placements and 8 students decided to go for higher studies. Out of 19 students, 13 are placed (70% Placed) and still there are many placement drives to happen till the month of July to secure more than 100% Placement by offering dual offer letters to some students. (Also, provides on job training and internships with the same mentioned companies).

Aeronautical Engineering is offered at the Amity Institute of Technology and is one of Amity University's most involved courses. The approach focuses on building a firm foundation in the topic and allowing pupils to learn more via experimentation. Students get insight into areas such as aerodynamics, propulsion, Thermodynamics aircraft system and instrumentation, mechanics of materials and fluids, flight mechanics, aircraft stability and control with the aid of field-experienced staff members and updated laboratories. Multidisciplinary engineering teams are used by aeronautical engineers. They may work for aerospace and aero-engine businesses, airline operators, R&D groups, contract agencies, consultancies, the civil service, the military forces, and government agencies such as the Ministry of Defence. As batches graduate, the need for in-campus interviews grows. In addition, the institution has its own CRC (Corporate Resource Centre) Placement unit that handles placements, internships, and other matters.
