The cost of attending Indira Institute of Aircraft Engineering can vary from course to course with the average tution fees of 2.4-4 lakh for 3 year course. So yes, it is slightly expensive than goverment institute but is pretty affordable for a private institutions.

NO, the Indira Institute of Aircraft Engineering is not UGC (University Grant Commission) approved beacuse it is not a traditional University or college, it may not fall under the purview of the UGC (University Grant Commission)

They are recognised by the directiorate general of civil aviation, which is a regulatory body for civil aviation in India.

As per the course fee details available on vsm aerospace website, the AME course fee is about Rs 6.6 Lacs.

Both colleges have good placement record but have some differences. Here is some points to be consider:

  • According to the sources, WCAT has a placement record of around 90%, with an average salary package of 3.4 LPA and a maximum of 7.6 LPA. Some of the top recruiters are Qatar Airways, NOVOAIR, Magnum Aviation, Vistara, Indigo, Emirates, Go Air, Hawaiii Air Chartered Sevices Ltd., and many more.
  • On the other hand, IIAE has a placement record of 92%, with an average salary package of 3.5 LPA. Some of the top recruiters are Indamer, GMR Aero Technic, Go first, Air Costa, etc.
