In India, there is not much scope for aeronautics yet. I would recommend studying abroad where there is good influence for aeronautics would be best.

Hello Muhammad, it's very nice to hear from you that after completion of your Diploma in mechanical engineering you are interested in pursuing your graduation in aeronautical engineering branch. Let me caution you at this stage. Presently in India, the chances of placement for an aeronautical engineering graduate are quite less as compared with any other branch of engineering. It would be better if you complete your engineering in mechanical branch itself and then seek employment in ISRO or DRDO so that you enter into an aeronautical field. However if you still want to pursue your dream of becoming and aeronautical engineer then I am a

Hello Partyus, Majority of colleges offering this branch of graduation give admission based only on marks obtained in 12th. There is no entrance exam. So all that you need to do is to seek admission form and brochure of the college where you intend to take admission, fill up form and wait for the call. That's all. Best wishes to you.

Hello Apurva, yes indeed. That's a very logical and analytical thinking. In addition, of all we know, after four years, there could be enough opportunities in India itself with this area being thrown open to private investment by the present government. Best wishes to you.

I am also an aspirant. If you are a keralite and had appeared for KEAM then its easy. You have to secure minimum of 60% in your 12th exams and secure a rank (around14,000-17,000) in KEAM. If you appeared for JEE Main then you have to secure a rank between 10,000-1,50,000 (to 3 colleges). Sorry that I can't provide further information (since I know much only).

Hello Gunasundari, availability of jobs for aeronautical engineering graduates in India is absolutely minimal. On the other hand, in western countries, it's much better. Hence if you can manage it, go abroad in a western country for studying in this branch. Best wishes to you.

Hello!
A degree in aerospace engineering and a degree in aeronautical engineering both prepare students to design aircraft. In fact, aeronautical engineering is a branch of aerospace engineering. Though the two degree programs teach similar engineering principles, there is a critical distinction between designing for air and space. Aeronautical engineering is actually a type of aerospace engineering, which is split into two main areas:
Aeronautical: Relates to machines that fly within the earths atmosphere, such as planes. Astronautical: Relates to spacecraft such as rockets, space stations and shuttles. My brother has done Aerospace en

Hello!
The two types of aerospace engineers include aeronautical engineers (They work with aircraft that stay within the earth's atmosphere such as airplanes and helicopters. ). And astronautical engineers (They work with aircraft that operate outside of the earth's atmosphere such as rockets, satellites, and other and spacecraft. ). A degree in aerospace engineering should cover them both. My brother has done Aerospace engineering from LPU. Fee per semester is 98,000 INR without scholarship. Hello!
Aeronautical engineering tends to focus on flight and activities within an atmosphere, a more dedicated field of aerospace studies that usually includes the atmosphere, but also extends into applications in space, where there is no atmosphere. Both Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineering are good branches. If you want to work in the aircraft building industry then aerospace engineering is the right course for you. However, if you look forward to work in the space industry, then aeronautical engineering is the right branch for you. My brother has done Aerospace engineering from LPU. Fee per semester is 98,000 INR without scholarsh
