From all the above mentioned whichever is higher that will be applicable. LPU offers scholarship based on various categories like previous qualification percentages, LPU NEST exam, national level test, defense personnel or CAPF dependents and many more. Whichever will be the best applicable that will be reduced from the fees of every semester. The fees structure depends upon the scholarship applicable, as the scholarship amount is reduced from the fee of every semester.

Aeronautical engineering is a sub branch of mechanical engineering. It is a specialisation of mechanical engineering. At Polytechnic level, only few institutions have necessary facilities to offer aeronautical engineering. But at Engineering level studying aeronautical engineering is good. Those studied mechanical engineering at Diploma level I. e Polytechnic are eligible to take or study aeronau tical engineering at Engineering level. So it is better to Study mechanical engineering. Those studied mechanical engineering have the option of joining mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automobile engineering apart from aeronautical engineering. At B.E. /B.Tech level.

RVCE aerospace Placements:
This is the third year of the department, So the first batch has not undergone the placement process. Overall Placement of the college is very good, 99% of the students get placed easily. Average salary pack is 6-8 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Oracle, Bosch etc. Come for the recruitment. Placements are not a thing to be worried. Infrastructure:
Our college has well-equipped labs and workshops. The aerospace department is getting a separate and a new lab and workshop. Classrooms are equipped with projectors, speakers, and benches of good quality. Central Library is just next to the department. It has an own building for the medical facility. Has a cricket, football ground, tennis, badminton, and a basketball court. Hostel Facility is good but available only for people from another city. Canteen is amazing, it is the largest area covered by the college. As per personal experience, it is better than the IIT's and NIT's. The college campus area is 51 acres. RVCE aerospace faculty: The Teachers are very helpful, the HOD of our dept is an alumnus of IISc. The teaching quality is good. They use Blooms Taxonomy and Outcome Based Education method.
