No, work experience is not experience mandatory for taking admission in MBA/PGDM course at Ahmedabad Institute of Hospitality Management. Candidates who are recent graduates with a solid academic record and a high entrance exam score can also apply. Relevant experience, however, may be helpful during placements and can offer weight during personal interviews.

After the candidate's application is successfully submitted, it is verified which includes all the documents and identity proof's verification and candidates may also be invited for AEE if needed. Once that is successfully done the candidates have to appear for the group discussion and personal interview round. The forms can sometimes get rejected as well if wrong information or documents are attached. Hence, it should be ensured that the details are filled correctly.

For the MBA/PGDM Marketing and Sales Management course, Ahmedabad Institute of Hospitality Management offers 60 seats. However, this might or might not change which totally depends on the institute or higher authorities. To confirm their seats, candidates have to pay the tuition fee or a specific amount after getting selected.

All though all the selection criteria are equally important for getting admission in Ahmedabad Institute of Hospitality Management, but the one that has been given the most amount of weightage by the institute for merit is the group discussion and personal interview round, i.e. 40%.
