You should although check with the university about the required educational background to do this course.
You will also have to be careful about the job. Because most airlines have age limits mentioned while hiring freshers for AME position.
Air India although allows category wise relaxation in age for freshers also.

B.Sc Aviation is a course which deals with the scientific operations of aeroplanes, helicopter, etc. This course provides a complete package, be it including flying hours, the model, parts and mechanics of the aircraft, etc.
Yes, you can opt for AME but after B.Sc in Aviation.
