In order to get an EASA Part-66 AML (Aircraft Maintenance License), an applicant needs:
Basic knowledge (66. A.25);
Basic experience (66. A.30). In order to get TR endorsed in the AML, an applicant needs:
Type Training (Theoretical and Practical) (66. A.45)
OJT for the first TR (66. A.45). The following two schemes depict the most common paths and are for information only. The first scheme applies to Group 1 aircraft (B1 and B2 licence categories). The second scheme applies to other than Group 1 aircraft (B1 and B2 licence categories). .

AME will not take you to a pilot's seat in the cockpit. The requirement to become a pilot is 10+2 with 50% marks in PCM, if you satisfy the criteria then only you can take admission and pursue your CPL training. After the completion of the training, you will be issued a license by DGCA. Only then you can apply and become a pilot.

For getting an AME license you will have to enrol yourself for 3years B.Sc. AME or AME course in some DGCA recognised Institute. After completion of 3years of graduation from college / academy you will be granted a BAMEC Certificate. Further you will have to apply and clear DGCA exams for issue of AME license. After you clear your DGCA exams you shall be issued a BAMEL / AME License.

Yes Singhania University is authorised to conduct B.Sc. AME course. It carriers all the validity.

There is no option of lateral entry in AME for BE holders or for anyone for that matter. You will have to enrol from the beginning and complete the entire course like a fresher to become an AME.

Aircraft Maintainance Engineering is a three year course. At the end of third year you will be given BAMEC Certificate by the college.
You will than have to clear DGCA exams for becoming an AME after which DGCA will issue you BAMEL License.
This license shall allow you for the job role of AME with any airline.
It is also a graduation course you will be given B.Sc. degree after completion of the same.
