Below are the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics requirements:

• Two LORs: Applicants should obtain recommendations from their faculty and managers Additionally, applicants must provide names and email addresses for their recommenders, and recommendation forms are emailed directly to the recommenders from the online application.

• Transcripts:  the applicant should submit the school report and the official transcript, including all the transcripts of their education and undergraduate degrees.

• Resume: Applicants must submit their resumes, mainly because the university wants to know the applicant's qualifications and their work experiences. 

• GRE/GMAT: These tests are optional, as For those opting for the GMAT, application fees are waived for candidates. Additionally, a holistic approach is taken during the admission process, evaluating multiple factors such as leadership, and interviews. Lastly, it is recommended to have scores above 600+ on the GMAT Classic and 555+ on the GMAT Focus edition. 

• Work Experience: International applicants require a minimum of 5 years experience before applying to the university. However, applicants are still selected if they have limited work experience. 

• SOP: Below are the SOPs which must be answered by applicants:

1. Outline your educational plans and career goals and discuss how your proposed plan of graduate study relates to them. What are the specific attributes of the programme at UD that lead you to believe that this degree is appropriate to help you achieve your professional objectives? Within the area of study you have selected, are there areas of special interest to you?

2. Getting your message across to prospective customers is a key element of a business plan. Please critique our effort to market the University of Delaware MBA programs by using specific examples of where and how you heard about our programme and honestly assess how effective that vehicle was in drawing you to apply for admission. What are some strengths of these marketing efforts and what could be done b

• Math Requirement: Those lacking non-introductory coursework in statistics, Calculus linear math, or relevant work experience, may need to complete an MBA math course at their own expense. This requirement will be communicated by the university admission committee after they review the application of the applicant.
