The cutoff for PVPSIT would vary according to the B.Tech stream and the category of the student. Yes, you can get admission to the B.E./B.Tech course at GMR Institute of Technology (GMRIT) provided you do not require appearing for Andhra Pradesh ECET. You can get through into the institute in case you are not considered for state quota, but are eligible for management quota, and they will take people based on national entrance exams like JEE Main or equivalent. The decisions will depend on the performance of those exams along with meeting the eligibility criteria like a minimum score in the 10+2 exams with relevant subjects.

Entry to the Vasavi College of Engineering also known as VCE for the B.E./B.Tech courses can be obtained without the Andhra Pradesh ECET.
