Admissions in Tamil Nadu are given fundamentally to the students who are native of Tamilnadu or to some other students meeting the criteria. But from what you have written I do not think that your son is meeting this criteria and hence your son's dream of studying in this college appears to be headed nowhere. Your MAT score is good but SKCET accepts only TANCET scores. You may apply for management exam separately in SKCET. Then, you will be eligible.

As per my knowledge, the cut-off is 191 to 195 for Information technology (2018) in Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology. 197-198 will be on safe zone.
