1. Diploma in VFX, you are required to complete class 10th.
2. For UG in animation, you need to complete HSC.

No problem with the arrears in your Diploma There are a lot of VFX training institutes available to start a career in VFX industry. A minimum of class 10th and 18+ age is required.

Yes, of course, you are eligible for both VFX and photography. The main thing is all you have interest in above these and it is a little bit costly too.

Pilot & animation are two different careers. If your son wants to take up animation as a career, he should be prepared to draw (sketching) & paint. He cannot rise high in a career in Animation unless he develops excellent drawing & painting skills (mainly drawing). Robotics is again a different field. He will have to take up a career in engineering in computer science to become a robotics engineer. Yes, there can be computational departments wherein commerce students can take part. The salary package depends upon the company in which you get the job. It isn't fixed and varies.

It is not that bad. If you have money and interest in the field you can take it. You will definitely gain knowledge and exposure to the culture and the latest technology. If you are just looking for the degree it is not advisable to take the course in VIT. According to the placement wise VIT is not good for B.Sc animation and multimedia courses
