Please refer to the link provided below for details regarding admission procedures to gain entry into a course in architecture in CCA through NATA score. You should be able to download their brochure which contains important details like last application dates, admission procedure, the application process to be followed and fee structures.

B.Arch Eligibility Criteria:
JEE Mains is divided into two papers:
Paper 1: for all undergraduate engineering programs and
Paper 2: for Architecture and Planning programs
As a B.Arch aspirant, you have two modes to get admission in IITs and other institutions:
If you wish to pursue B.Arch. in IIT Kharagpur or IIT Roorkee, you need to clear Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT). Students who have secured a rank in JEE Advanced are eligible for AAT. The entrance test will be held only at the seven zonal IITs. In a nutshell, to get admission for B.Arch course in these two institutes, one has to clear Paper 1 (B.Arch/B.Planning) of JEE Main, JEE Adv

Its rare in any college that architecture students get selected on campus. Same is with MANIT. You can't rely on campus placement. Yet MANIT architecture is one of the best available in country.

You should check with the admissions department of your institute for details regarding lateral shift to another college. Most likely, if you have a good academic record and there is a tie-up with your college and the target institute you should be able to shift without repeating an academic year.
