Placements in architecture, though they exist still are pretty rare. So, mostly 'No'.
You need to apply directly to the firms that you want to work with and hope that you get an interview call and if everything goes well, you'll be able to grab the desired job.
Nowadays, most universities are having some form of placements, they are still in their infancy and hardly two or three companies will come looking for candidates. In most cases, these companies will be project management companies such as L&T or large scale developers such as Sobha builders.
As a fresher, it may not always be a good idea to join such large-scale offices because you might miss out on learning the basics of architecture and construction.
In any case, make sure you are understanding the kind of job profile these companies offer before signing up for any kind of campus placement.

Part 1 Consists of - MATHEMATICS
Algebra: Definitions of A. P. and G.P.; General term; Summation of first n-terms of series. Arithmetic/Geometric series, A.M., G.M. and their relation; Infinite G.P. series and its sum.
Logarithms: Definition; General properties; Change of base.
Matrices: Concepts of m x n (m 3, n 3) real matrices, operations of addition, scalar multiplication and
multiplication of matrices. Transpose of a matrix. Determinant of a square matrix. Properties of determinants (statement only). Minor, cofactor and adjoint of a matrix. Nonsingular matrix. Inverse of a matrix. Finding area of a triangle. Solutions of system of linear equations. (Not more than 3 variables).
Trigonometry: Trigonometric functions, addition and subtraction formulae, formulae involving multiple and submultiple angles, general solution of trigonometric equations. Properties of triangles, inverse trigonometric functions and their properties.
Coordinate geometry
3-Dimensional Co-ordinate geometry: Direction cosines and direction ratios, distance between two points
and section formula, equation of a straight line, equation of a plane, distance of a point from a plane.

Part 2 - DRAWING TEST
Understanding of scale and proportion of objects, geometric composition, shape, building forms and
elements, aesthetics, colour texture, harmony and contrast. Conceptualization and Visualization through
structuring objects in memory. Drawing of patterns - both geometrical and abstract. Form transformations in 2D and 3D like union, subtraction, rotation, surfaces and volumes. Generating plan, elevation and 3D views of objects. Creating 2D and 3D compositions using given shape and forms. Perspective drawing, Sketching of urbanscape and landscape, Common day-to-day life objects like furniture, equipment etc., from memory.

Industrial Design Centre was established in Mumbai IIT in 1969. It was very visionary decision to have this along with premier IIT. It was established primarily to encourage the study of industrial design which is of vital importance for a country on the path of industrialisation. Presently, this department offers different courses and also facilities for research also. The biggest advantage for this school of design is its co-location with IIT. Excellent academics and close interactions with industry have made placements for these professionals a very simple exercise. It's a problem of plenty with students able to choose or reject. Construction managers are more concerned with the on-time completion of the construction work. While architects (architecture engineer) are more concerned with the basic fundamentals (flexibility, durability and strength) of any building. Construction manager's fundamental tasks are coordination, supervision, and scheduling in the building of office complexes, residential homes and industrial structures. They need good management as well as communication skills.Construction managers generally have the responsibility of one segment of a big project. There are specialised contractors working under their supervision. Architects design buildings with essential features like safety, energy efficient and functionality. An architect needs to coordinate with the client to set the parameters of construction, such as construction objectives, budget, and requirements of the structure.
Architects often do pre-construction assessments to determine the feasibility of the project and any environmental impact the structure might have. When the pre-construction assessment is complete, an architect will then develop the final construction plan, including construction details and building appearance.

IITs are the best in technical education in India, be it engineering or architecture. IIT-Roorkee is one of the best among the IITs. This institute has instituted Masters in Architecture. As mathematics and technical drawing are the important subjects in architecture. IITs are the best in it. Placements in IIT-Roorkee are also good, many engineering and design, manufacturing, robotic designing and IT companies visit the campus.

KIITEE B.Arch is an exam organized by KIIT Institute for aspirants who want to take admission in KIIT for B.Arch programme. Aspirants who want to take admission in this college have to score more than 50% marks in class 12th including physics and maths as subjects and have to score a good rank in KIITEE. This exam is just to check how much students have studied in class 12th and is he or she really eligible for this programme or not.
So the questions in B.Arch KIITEE are not so tough in comparison to NATA or JEE Mains paper 2 exam. There is no need to prepare separately for KIITEE. Just prepare for NATA or JEE Mains paper 2 with full concentration and then definitely one can score good marks in KIITEE exam.
