Can I get admission in Jadavpur or IIEST, Shibpur for B.Arch? I have scored 96 marks in NATA and 80.2% in 12th.

Jadavpur University accepts JEE Mains paper 2 rank. Previous year’s cutoff for Jadavpur University was around 11k for general category students.

I will suggest you to choose B.Tech over B.Arch because placement is good in B.Tech even in an average college while even top colleges of B.Arch are unable to provide 100% placements.

The counselling for undergraduate engineering seats under COMEDK (Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka), which was scheduled to begin on Friday, has been postponed again due to the delay in announcement of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2017 results.

Jadavpur University takes Admission in it's architecture course through JEE Mains (paper 2) rank.If your rank is around 10-11k then you will get a seat there.

JOINT ENTRANCE EXAM - PART 2 (JEE-2) breakup
Maths- 30 Question - 4 marks each (-1 for wrong answers) -120 marks
Aptitude- 50 Question - 4 marks each (-1 for wrong answers) -200 marks
Drawing- 3 Questions - 20+20+30 marks -70 marks
Total - 390 Marks |Total time- 3 Hours
minimum is 160

JEE Main Paper 2 is conducted for admissions to B.Arch/B.Planning courses at NITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions. JEE Mains paper 2 is based on both drawing and maths skills , it has a math section (level is same as the JEE Mains paper 1) and a sketching and 3D interpretation
