There is one government college, Chandigarh College of Architecture mainly known as CCA. You can check the cutoff list of all categories on the official website of Chandigarh College of Architecture.

For that purpose, you must have given JEE for B.Arch. It is their official exam for architecture. Then they have their counseling procedure. You can even consider giving NATO.

There are chances that you might get into one of the NIT's, maybe NIT Hamirpur or NIT Raipur. There closing rank goes sufficiently far every year to fetch you a seat. So, go ahead for the counselling. Moreover, there is always a change every year but you can try at least.

In many states there are too many colleges and large number of seats are lying vacant. After normal rounds of counselling are over, admisdare invariably thrown open for direct entry without any entrance. Your chance is at this stage.

The best depends on your interest. If you have interest in technology, then go for B.Tech and if you are interested in creative structures, then take B.Arch.
