I've got 230 marks in JEE paper-2, ST rank: 42, CRL: 4195. I've not attended JEE paper-1. Am I eligible to get a seat in any of the IITs?

Anyone can get into IITs or NITs by clearing the Mains and Advance exams.

Surely you can get admission into very good NITs and IIITs.
Just register yourself through JOSAA and the registration date is 15th June.

I have got 171 marks in JEE Mains paper 2 and I belong to Muslim OBC category. Can I get admission in JMI for architecture?

There are low chances. But it doesn’t give admission by counselling, you have to apply before for it and the last date of JMI application has gone. The cutoff for Muslim is 175 and for non-Muslim is 200 to 250. You can’t get admission, hence try for next year.

Hi Aman,
It’s totally up to you to choose your stream. It's on your interest. Otherwise, go for B.Arch as there is more scope as less people pursue it as compared to B.Tech.

Yes, you will likely to get your NIT. Moreover, if that NIT is a popular one or one with good rank such as that of Warangal or Trichy or Surathkal, then it will be tough to GET into. Also, the chances are very high.

JJ College does not takes admission on the basis of JEE mains but through NATA and your board marks combined. Also, with previous cutoffs, you need at least 170+ marks in NATA to expect a seat in JJ College. Try for other opportunities with these marks.
