Actually, your percentage in 10+2 is low. For getting admission in SRM, you need to score more than 70 percentage and you have to clear the SRMJEE Exam. But, you scored good marks in JEE Mains paper. You can contact SRM admission department, they can explain you briefly about your condition.

Yes, you can apply for BE in Civil engineering by lateral entry.
You will get Direct Second Year Admission in Civil engineering. I prefer you to confirm it by your college.

Environmental engineering has a very good branch and have lot of scope nowadays. After declaring the result, you have to fill the form of Polytechnic and choice the course which you like on the basis of merit, you are eligible for CAP round.
