Hi Vikas!
One can join the Air Force as an Officer in either one of the three branches, the Flying, Technical or the Ground branch. The officer cadre provides opportunities for men with 10+2 /Intermediate (only in the flying branch), graduates ( all three branches), engineers (all three branches) and postgraduates (all branches except the Flying branch). You can refer to this link to find information about having a career as an air control officer https://www.shiksha.com/careers/air-traffic-control-officer-117.

It would be an added factor, if you prefer engineering as engineering students and graduates can directly appear for the SSB interview instead of clearing UPSC CDS exams. Also, 60 students from engineering and 60 students from non-engineering background are selected. Mechanical and Civil will be a great advantage. CDS Exam is conducted twice in a year every year by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission), who have specified age limit, physical standard and education criteria. Dear Rahul,
You will have to give CAT exam, only then you will get to know your chances of getting selected for IIM, Ahemdabad. For clearing CAT, you need to be smart, not knowledgeable, and according to me, Indian Army officers are always more than smart. There were many army officers who joined the army and continued their studies too and retired from higher posts. Solve more and more CAT papers and do give IQ tests (Standford Binet or Culture ), giving IQ tests will help you overcome all your fears.

Hi Sushil,
You may enroll into a Bachelor's degree program via a recognized distance learning program if full time studies are not an option now. Depending on your career plans and interest you may consider pursuing management studies, economics, law etc. Please check university websites like IGNOU, KSOU, etc. for program options and communicate with them regarding admissions and requirements.
