This is good though of higher education but I think if you have good base in mechanical you should pursue Bachelor in mechanical engineering because Very large PSUs offer job in mechanical.

Perhaps you can decide accordingly. Engineering Management, Civil Engineering, specialised Masters in civil engineering disciplines, management etc. are some of the options available. See what interests you, evaluate the career outcomes, programme syllabi etc. Check RMIT, QUT, etc. for engineering options.

Canada is best for civil engineering as construction work goes on in Canada, so in terms of job prospects also it is beneficial.
