For admission in BA LLB (Hons) course at National Law University Kochi candidates must have a valid eligibility criteria. Candidates can find below the eligibility criteria for BA LLB for 2025:
- The candidate for CLAT shall have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate examination (10+2) or an examination recognised as equivalent thereto with at least 45 % aggregate.
- Students who are appearing for the qualifying examination are allowed to appear for CLAT. However, they should submit the results of the qualifying examination at the time of admission. If they do not do so, the candidates shall be considered ineligible.

Candidates who wish to apply for BA LLB at School of Law and Legal Affairs need to meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Class 12 with any stream
- Class 12 minimum aggregate of 50%
- CLAT/NSAT/CUET cutoff
Candidates who meet the above mentioned eligibility criteria can participate in the admission process and secure a seat at NIU SLLA.

The eligibility criteria for admission to the BA LLB course at Quantum University are that candidates must complete their Class 12 from any stream with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Additionally, the university considers candidates' achieved Class 12 scores for admission to the BA LLB course and releases the merit according to that. Moreover, the university also considers the CUET UG and Q-CARE exam scores to grant admission and scholarships.

VIT-AP School of Law, VIT-AP University BA LLB (Hons) admission is subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria specified by the BCI. The basic eligibility requirements that must be met by aspirants are as follows:
- Candidates must have completed Class 12 or its equivalent examination from a recognised board (CBSE/ICSE/State Boards) with a minimum aggregate as specified by the BCI

In order to apply for the BA LLB course in Greater Noida College of Law, the applicants should have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 45% marks. OBC applicants should have 42% and SC/ST applicants should have 40%. It is merit-based admission, and students may apply online from the official website.

BA LLB at PG College of Law, Osmania University, is fulfilling eligibility for candidates who have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% (40% in SC/ST categories) aggregate marks from a recognised board. Subjects can be of any stream-science, commerce, or arts, giving the flexibility of application.
The other qualifying test is also the TS LAWCET (Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test). Minimum rank depends on that year's cutoffs, which are usually around 50-60 marks out of 120 for general category. Age limits are in accordance with BCI norms which are usually less than 20 years (22 for reserved categories)
