Yes, it is possible to study more than one specialisation in the BA in Mass Communication course. In many colleges, the BA in Mass Communication serves as a base course that offers foundational knowledge about every domain to help you decide which area of study excites you and where you wish to pursue a career. And then according to your area of interest, you can pursue a PG or PG Diploma course in that specific field.

Of course, there are more than 500 BA in Mass Communication colleges in India and many among them offer admissions on the merit system. However, you'll still need to fulfil the eligibility criteria for the college. Some popular colleges that offer admission without entrance include St. Joseph's University, Amity University, MCNUJC Bhopal, Christ University, and IMS Noida.

Unfortunately, there's no provision of lateral entry for BA in Mass Communication course admission. You'll have to get admission in the very first year and complete all the 3 years of the program. Though you can get admission to Master's courses in the Mass Communication & Media programs.
