Review of Jadavpur University.
Placements: Packages offered for engineering students are top-notch, but for the B.A. students, packages are not quite sure. Internships are best. As far as I know, the highest package in our university is 10 crore per annum. At least 80% of students will get guaranteed internships.
Infrastructure: For the infrastructure, I would rate 7 out of 10. We do have libraries and Wi-Fi. We even have digital libraries and separate departmental libraries.
Faculty: Exams are held semester-wise. It makes students ready for exams. After the new NEP policy, it has become tough for students to gain great marks but good enough. The highest pass percentage is 8 CGPA. I would recommend students join this university as it is the best at least in my state. Professors are good, but most of them teach in the vernacular, so it might be tough for non-Bengal students.
Other: Jadavpur University is basically free so students who cannot afford tuition can join this university. Fests are held for a month. We have a lot of fests and extracurricular activities.

Thoroughly enjoyed the campus life.
Placements: Eligibility for placement is definitely to finish your degree without backlogs. Other than that, certain criteria were set up only by the company that was looking to hire. The students in engineering have massive placements where the package might even hit as high as 1.5 crore per year. The placement percentage is also around 90%. I am preparing for UPSC, so I didn't take a job.
Infrastructure: The classrooms had microphones so everyone could hear, and a smart class facility was also there. Our department has its own seminar room, which was utilized at its best because notable personalities used to visit often to interact with us. The hostel facility is vast at JU. There are more than seven hostel buildings on campus and one outside as well. I never stayed in a hostel, so I don't have a wider knowledge base.
Faculty: The faculty was the reason why I chose to stay at JU when I was a little confused between two universities. The faculty is top-notch, and the pros are extremely qualified and experienced. They have varied specializations (PhDs) and are quite approachable. The course curriculum is relevant if you want to stay in academics or are preparing for civil service. The difficulty of the semester exams depends completely on your preparation, as everything is covered in class, study materials are provided, and nothing out of the syllabus is asked.
Other: I chose this course because I thought it would help me with my further UPSC prep, and honestly, it did. The best thing about this course is the kind of reality you get to see. As sociopolitical issues are often unnoticed or not understood by many, I know how to look at things. This course gave me a perspective that makes me more aware than my peers, and for that I am grateful. The campus life is vibrant, people are social, and there are a lot of clubs and societies to engage in. The college festival "Sanskriti" happens three times every year (by three separate student unions). Campus has Wi-Fi, and when you become a student, you get a password. You can connect and work on as many devices as you please. JU has scholarships for categories like EWS, SC, ST, and others, but my knowledge regarding them is limited.

Highly recommended, for those who want to have a great academic, as well as a campus life.
Placements: No such placement offers are provided, but the quality of study one get is good. Professors are very helpful.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, journal section, reading room, library, are available. Hostel rooms, and food quality are also good.
Faculty: Very helpful teachers, and very good teaching quality. The Course is relevant The exams are not so difficult, but one must be clear in the basic level of studies.
Other: Best thing is that, this subject keeps us aware of the recent incidents of the world. A better funding is highly needed, for this course.

It is the best university in eastern India.
Placements: In the arts department, students focus more on clearing the NET. But a lot of students opt for placements in media companies, NGOs, and ad agencies, etc. The salary offered varies, and it is ranged between Rs. 25,000 per month to Rs. 75,000 per month depending on the job and the location of the job.
Infrastructure: The college boasts of a brilliant library as well as computer facilities, but they need improvement. Canteens definitely require improvement. Wi-Fi connectivity is an issue. Classrooms and toilets can be cleaner. However, the experience is really nice.
Faculty: Teachers are how you perceive. Some of them are definitely knowledgeable, helpful, and help to get internships, etc. They also recommend for research and employment. The course curriculum is modern and research-oriented, and it also focuses on tackling ground-based issues.
Other: The college organises an event named Sanskriti.

Very satisfied with the quality of education and overall campus experince however the infastructure
Placements: There is no such thing as placements for students in the Arts departments. Engineering department gets placement opportunities, and they do have a semi-centralised placement body. The rest of the collegd lacks a centralised placement body and hence after completion of Masters very few get placement opportunities, but those too are mostly based on personal/semi-personal contacts.
Infrastructure: It has a very vast infrastructure. All departments have every required facilities in terms on infrastructure. However it is not at all well maintained and lacks proper care. The maintainence quality is extremely poor. Medical facilities are minimal but are available. Labs and classroom are less maintained. The qualitu of food is very worth it and great. Hostel rooms are decent and worth the money with proper supply of water and electricity.
Faculty: Faculty of JU is one of the best in the city. Every department has extremely qualified and enriching teachers. The courses are varied and extremely popular throughout the city. Every course is taught to its minimal details. Almost all courses are avialbale here besides law and medicine.
Other: There are a million events throughout the year. Each event is extremely engaging and a lot of fun. The campus crowd is comparatively poor. It is hard to connect with people due to their extremely vast personalities and extremely different social backgrounds. Several non students are also seen in the campus who often engage in weird activities which in turn defame the whole college, however for the most part of it, if you can find a easy to go and like mentality group for yourself, its works pretty well. Campus is very unmaintained and littered. Scholarship facilities are available. Several students from not so great economic background can be seen using the scholarship to their benefit. Every type of extracurricular activity is available in the form of clubs. Several new clubs such as Science club, astronomy club come up every year.
