Candidates can begin applying for BA admissions once CUET-UG registrations begin. CUET-UG registrations begin from start of an year in January and end on last date of this month. Therefore, candidates should apply as soon as academic year begins for BA courses at Tata Institute of Social Sciences.

No, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai BA admission has been closed for academic year 2026. Candidates were required to register for CUET-UG for admission into BA courses. CUET-UG registrations were closed in the month of February.

Tata Institute of Social Sciences BA admission do not require candidates have mathematics in Class 12 to be eligible. Candidates from all streams are eligible for BA courses regardless of their chosen stream or minimum aggregate.

Yes, CUET-UG is a mandatory entrance exam for admission into Tata Institute of Social Sciences BA course. No other entrance exams are accepted for admission into this course and candidates cannot apply directly.

CUET-UG registrations also affect admission schedule if TISS, Mumbai.

• B.Com. – 45.17%

• B.Sc. – 38.33%

• B.Sc. Computer Science – 53.33%

• B.Sc. Information Technology – 43.5%

• B.Sc. Biotechnology – 71.33%

• BAF (Bachelor of Accounting & Finance) – 62%

• BMM (Bachelor of Mass Media) – 40.67%

The cutoff may change every year depending on the number of applicants and available seats.

No the Sai University CAT exam is not compulsory for admission to BA courses. Students who have valid marks in other national level exams can also apply. The university considers exams such as CUET/ SAT India/ ACT, etc. Moreover, students can take admission based on merit also.
