Candidates must complete Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Business Studies/ Information Practices/ IT/ Engineering/ Graphics/ Computer Science or pass 3 year Diploma examination after Class 10 with at least 45% aggregate with Mathematics as a subject to apply for BArch at Amity University Mumbai.

Aspirants must complete Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with a minimum of 50% aggregate to apply for BArch programme at Sri University. Candidates must also have NATA, JEE Main Paper-2 or SSU CET scores for admission to BArch.

Both are different paths that are just interlinked at some point. Choosing between a B.Arch which is also known as Bachelor of Architecture and a B.Planning aka Bachelor of Planning depends on your career goals, strengths. 

B.Arch basically deals with individual buildings and the environment around it all within boundary of a site provided.

B.Planning deals with only planning aspects you won't plan buildings etc. but you will plan large-scale areas like town services, city-scale development, policy, and infrastructure, etc.

Lovely Professional University (LPU) has good B.Arch placements overall. In recent placement drives, architecture graduates secured the highest packages around ₹41 Lakh, with the top 10% averaging about ₹12.5 Lakh, and around 70+ recruiters visiting campus for B.Arch roles like junior architect and urban designer. Earlier batches saw 100% placement with the highest around ₹24 Lacs and average about ₹7.7–8 Lakh. LPU's placement cell also supports internships and industry exposure, enhancing prospects, though actual outcomes can vary with student skills and market conditions.

Faculty of Architecture AKTU has a total seat intake of 80 for the BArch programme every year. Though this number may increase or decrease depending on the college/university council as well as other supervisory bodies such as the UGC. Students are selected for these seats based on entrance exam scores such as NATA, JEE Main, UPTAC, CUET, etc.
