The course is open to students of all streams, and not just for those with a commerce background. Students from a non-commerce background at the Intermediate/Plus 2 level will have to appear for a qualifying test in basic Accounting, Mathematics, and Computer Literacy. Hello dear, both are good options. You only need a graduation degree for appearing in the UPSC and MPSC exam. You may prepare for your UPSC exam during your graduation. Self-study is more preferred than coaching. If you have any doubt, then go for coaching.

Please mention the college details. Some institutes prefer to give admission on merit bases, while others conduct entrance exam. I would advise you to provide clear details in your question.

Hi Nitin,
If you are not happy with your current profile and are looking for a career advancement, you have other options than CS. You can pursue M.Com or MBA in finance. There is also an option to pursue international courses like Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Public Accounting CPA and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Hi Raghav,
The website of this college does not mention any defense quota reservation. Yet, it would be better if you contact the college authorities directly for the information.
