Before MBA all students preference always gives to B.com higher than B.B.A and if we all compare than also B.E. is higher but here if you do B.com than chances for getting MBA in good colleges's possibility will be high in compare to B.B.A course.

You can look at career opportunities into Accounting and the growth would be really slow. You can look at doing M.com with CIMA which will give you a head start to your career in any of the fortune 500 companies. All the best!

Post graduation and further studies / qualification like M.Phil / PhD and also qualifying through the UGC NET exam are now the requirments to step into the field of college education. I am afraid that you will have to proceed further on this track and simple B.Com. would not be sufficient for a career in this line 'D72409'.

Very happy to see your query and glad that you approached https://Shiksha.com for getting the right guidance. I appreciate that you wish to be in the teaching profession and congratulate you for this. Dear Shally, to appear for NET / SET the minimum eligibility is Post graduation with min 55%. Therefore definitely you need to complete MCom. After clearing NET / SET you can surely become Professor starting from the designation of Lecturer / Asst. Professor. Best Luck. MBA is a good option. You can also apply for online MBA where there is no need to sit for such tough exams like CAT, MAT, XAT etc. one good institute offering MBA/PGDM is The Strategy Academy http://www.thestrategyacademy.org/

Yes Bhagwati, you can do MBA with specialization in IT-Infrastructure. But before that please ensure that you would be able to carry on and build your careeer in IT sector itself. I am mentioning this here because in your career you might find less qualified or less experienced but technically IT qualifed persons alongwith you or ahead of you.
