Yes, one can get admission to B.E/B.Tech at Prakasam Engineering College through lateral entry. The condition is one must pass a 3-year Diploma programme or some other equivalent programme in the relevant field with a minimum of 45%. 

After that, one must qualify for AP-ECET exam conducted by the government of Andhra Pradesh. After you score the required marks, you need to apply for the college and then admission will be done through web counselling. 

According to UGC, 10% of seats are reserved for lateral entry candidates. So, Prakasam Engineering College offers 600 seats for B.Tech courses, i.e., some 60 seats are reserved for B.Tech lateral entry candidates. The fee for the B.Tech course is INR 43,000 per year at Prakasam Engineering College.
