Chitkara University reserves seats for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates as per the policy of the state government. There are 25% seats reserved for bonafide candidates of Himachal Pradesh at HP campus of the university. At the Punjab campus, there are 15% seats reserved for Punjab domicile candidates.

Yes, you can get admission in B.E. at Chitkara University without JEE (Mains) on the basis of Class 12 merit if you get minimum 70% aggregate in Class 12 or minimum 70% aggregate in PCM.

No, BMS College of Engineering does not allow direct admission in B.E. programme. Candidates can get admission through KCET/KEA route or COMEDK route. For admissio through Management Quota, candidates need to qualify CET/COMED-K/JEE Paper-I.

Yes, BMS College of Engineering allows Lateral Entry in second year of B.E. Candidates need minimum 45% in any Diploma or equivalent exam to be eligible for admission through Lateral Entry. Minimum aggregate required for ST/SC/OBC candidates of Karnataka in Diploma is 40%.
